Primetel Community Health Workers Complete Specialized Training in Mental Health Continuity of Care
Primetel’s Community Health Workers (CHWs) have successfully completed a specialized capacity-building program focused on strengthening continuity of care in mental health—marking an important step in advancing community-based healthcare delivery.
This training equips CHWs with the skills to go beyond initial engagement, enabling them to provide structured follow-up, monitor patient progress, and support individuals throughout their recovery journey. In many underserved settings, care often ends at the point of identification. This initiative ensures that support continues—consistently, compassionately, and close to home.
By strengthening the role of CHWs in post-care support, Primetel is reinforcing one of the most critical yet often overlooked elements of healthcare systems: continuity. Patients are not only identified and referred but accompanied through their healing process, reducing drop-off and improving long-term outcomes.
This milestone also reflects Primetel’s broader commitment to investing in frontline health workers as the backbone of accessible care. By building local capacity, the organization is creating a more resilient, responsive, and people-centered health system—one that meets individuals where they are and stays with them over time.
As Primetel continues to scale, strengthening community-level care remains central to its model—ensuring that no one is left to navigate recovery alone.
